General Description
These DB44HD right angle connectors are designed to be mounted on printed circuit boards. All 44 pins
and two mounting tabs (locking forks) extend through the circuit board, providing a convenient and
sturdy connection. DB44HD connectors use the same shell size as DB25 connectors, but they have
3 rows of pins (High Density).
These connectors are the 0.350" set back style which is standard on high density connectors.
This means that the distance between the connector face and the closest row of pins is 0.350".

Captive Screws

Captive screws compatible with these DSUB connectors may be purchased from Winford Engineering. These are very useful for fastening the DSUB connectors to mating equipment.
They are meant to be used with the connectors when no jack screws are installed, and they allow the connector to be fastened directly to a mating connector which contains jack screws. The picture
on the left illustrates the concept.
