Since the DB25 is a very widely used connector in data acquisition devices and
other computer peripherals, a variety of vendors offer DB25 breakout boards
which provide quick and and convenient access to these connectors.
Winford Engineering's BRK25 breakout boards are quite similar to breakout boards offered
by other vendors and can be used as substitutes in many situations.
For each vendor, the model number of their DB25 breakout board is given, as well as a list
of DAQ devides which would typically require a breakout board.

Connector Style
These breakout boards are available with either a Right Angle connector or a
Straight ("Vertical") connector. The terms Right Angle and Straight refer
to the connector itself, NOT the relationship of the mating cable to the PCB. In fact,
the cable mating to a Right Angle connector is parallel to the PCB, while the cable mating
to a Straight connector is perpendicular to the PCB. These are pictured below:

DIN Rail Mount Version
These products are also available with DIN rail mounting clips for quick and
convenient mounting where DIN rail is used. Product numbers ending with -DIN come
with DIN clips already installed and ready to mount. The clips allow
mounting on standard 35mm rail as well as 32mm rail.
