CNC (Computer Numerical Control) is an area that has seen explosive growth and interest from hobbyists. A wealth of information and software packages have been published on the Internet that have allowed many people to assemble their own machines and start accomplishing real work with them. The whole CNC and robotics arena makes extensive use of the DB25 connector for I/O port connections, switch and sensor hookups, and entire machine control through the PC's parallel port. Regardless of the application, you'll find the BRK25M breakout board gives increased flexibility to your design by allowing fast installation, replacement, rework, and testing. When connecting to a parallel port, a BRK25M (with a DB25 Male connector) is typically used. However, if you need a DB25 Female breakout board, it is available here.
